Hands and Feet: Critique

I Like my hands photo because it shows hands playing on a big tictactoe board.  If I could chang anything in this photo I wouldn't have the hands dead center in the photo.  I might also add another pair of hands.

Hands and Feet

I was attracted to this photo of a hand because I like the way the photographer used short depth of field. I also like the way the mud looks on the hand.

I like this photo of hands because of the different skin textures. I also like how they're connected in some way.

This is also an interesting photo because the baby's feet and the parents hand show new and old contrast.

I like this photo because I like the fact that the hands are in action. I also like the contrast of the rough sand on smooth hands.

This photo is interesting because it shows the clear beach scenery and adds a little more with the conch shell. I like the motion in this picture too.

Rule of Thirds: Critique

I like my rule of thirds photo. However, I would make it better by dodging and burning.  The sky is a little too light, so I would add more light. I might also have considered adding movement with the umbrella since it was raining.

Rule of Thirds

These photos were all taken with rule of thirds in mind.

This photo utilizes rule of thirds by having the subject in the right third and the bag in the left third of the photograph.

This example of rule of thirds captures motion.  The chairs are falling in the upper third going horizontally. The subjects body is also separated into thirds as she falls.

I like the way this photo uses rule of thirds because the three truck in the background are each in a different section. Then on top of that the women is running across, captured in the left section of the photo.

This picture recreating Alice in wonderland is an example of rule of thirds. I like the way each character is layered in the photo and are each in a different section. There is no main focal point dead center in the photo.

This photo uses rule of thirds horizontally and vertically. The skyline and wateer divide the photo into thirds. The subect of the photo is also in the right third of the photo.

Conveying a Message: Critique

This photo conveys the message of sadness and jealousy. I like this photo because there is layering with the boy in the front and the three in the back. If I could change anything in this photo I would add another layer of kids playing.

Conveying a Message

This photo is showing gluttony, one of the seven deadly sins.  I was attracted to this photo because it uses different components to explain the message.

This photo is showing greed.  I was attracted to this photo because it shows the classic little girl not wanting to share her toys.

I like this photo showing competition because its a fun side that isnt always seen.  I like how the housewives are staring each other down as they go about their daily routines.  I also like ths use of bright colors.

I like this photo of the skaters because its shows alot of action.  I also like how the buildings are framing the boys and the boy watching in the background.

This photo is conveying the message of disorder as well as beauty.  Within all the messes surrounding the girl she still makes it a point to find the beauty in all of it.
